Mental health issues are hard on a marriage, yet many are unaware of helpful options that can be sought personally and professionally. This class will discuss what anxiety and depression are, what they are not, and provide suggestions for spouses.

 Jason B. Whiting, PhD, LMFT is a Professor of Marriage and Family Therapy at Brigham Young University and licensed family therapist. He researches control, deception, and abuse in relationships and is the author of Love Me True: Overcoming the Surprising Ways We Deceive in Relationships. He teaches classes on domestic violence, mindfulness, and the role of emotional regulation in aggression and addiction. Jason has been married to his wife, April, for 23 years and they are the parents of six children.
