This presentation will focus how family, friends, and church leaders can help support those who are going through or have experienced divorce and how individuals who have experienced divorce can push through the challenges. The presentation will pull from existing research from the field of marriage, family, and divorce resiliency. Attendees will learn from the presenter himself who personally experienced a divorce as well as from the experiences of others who went through the breakup of a marriage and were able to survive and thrive. Finally, this presentation will integrate the essential role of the Gospel of Jesus Christ in moving forward with faith.
